where interest?

summary
TAIPEI, Jan 22 (AFP) - Taiwan and Singapore are the best
overall places for investment in Asia and are tied for
second place worldwide after Switzerland, according to a
report released by the Economics Ministry here on Sunday.
The report, based on a November assessment by the US-
based Business Environment Risk Intelligence SA (BERI) of
investment opportunities and business environment in 50
countries, put Singapore and Taiwan in second place after
Switzerland as the most profitable places to conduct
business.
Taiwan ranked third in the operations risk index part
of the report behind Switzerland and Singapore, but was
in first place in the sub-categories of balance of
payments and economic growth.
The overall assessment is calculated primarily by
adding three ratings for each of the 50 countries
covered: operation risk index, political risk index and
remittance and repatriation of profits factors.
In political stability, Taiwan ranked fourth, after
Switzerland, Singapore and Austria. It ranked third in
the remittance and repatriation categories, which include
a country's foreign exchange payment capablity.
Among the major Asian countries assessed in the
report, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan were deemed to have
low-risk investment.
Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines were high-risk
areas.
Personal response
I think Switzerland is one of the best country in the world. For investment in Asia Singapore is very interest. Because their stability politic and I agree about Thailand is high-risk areas .I hope one day Thailand will be like Switzerland for investment.
