Summary
Every year, Sony Thai and other Sony companies in Thailand jointly organized the Environmental Day aiming for creating awareness towards the environment among the employees and also the local community. The sample of environmental activities are such as Green Walk Rally which we invited under privileged children to join the walk rally with the provision of the importance of environment conservation and impact, coral planting, etc.

An environment can be defined as anything which surrounds a system. Therefore, the business environment is anything which surrounds the business organisation. It affects the decisions, strategies, processes and performance of the business. The micro environment consists of different types of stakeholders - customers, employees, suppliers, board of directors and creditors. The macro environment consists of factors which are beyond the control of the business (STEP) - Social, Technological, Economical and Political.
Changes in the micro environment will directly affect and impinge on the firm's activities. Changes in the macro environment will indirectly affect the business but will nonetheless affect it. For example, a change in legislation such as the smoking ban indirectly affects pubs and restaurants.

This project is intended to be a showcase of good management environment in the power plant. At the same time, this project helps increase the population of sea basses in the Khanom area.

Another example is Pascale engineering program aiming to produce durable products from lighter weight materials. It helps to cut the cost of shipping.
Personal response
This is a good theory, but it is unaffordable for all regions around the world. As we can see wind energy can be produced in only in windy areas. It is not suitable to have wind energy generating in Thailand. I suggest that solar cell would be the better choice in Thailand. This project seems idealistically excellent. The company takes plastic bags, shrink and stretch wrap, bubble wrap, dry cleaning bags, and bags for coffee, bread, produce and frozen food. UK,water conservation strategy is still in the early stages of development,Cadbury cut its water use 10 percent last year compared to 2006.
The company plans to put in place water reduction plans at all of its global ssites deemed "water scarce" by carefully managing and reducing water use, and treating and capturing waste water .By 2020,thecompany hope to reduce its water use 20 percent.
The company reduce carbon dioxide emmission 3.6 percent below 2006 levels in 2007.Cadbury predicts it will reduce emmission 10 percent by 2010, and plans to slash absolute emmission inhalf by 2020, with at least 30 percentcoming from in house action.
Cadbury want ot reduce product packaging 10 percent per tonne of product,and by 25 percent for seasonal product. The company also worked with The Carbon Trust to measure carbon footprint of its cadbury Dairy Milk cady bar supply chain, and is expanding the approch to other product.

SCG has set its target to achieve “Zero Waste” which is to minimize waste at source, mitigate environmental burden, avoid disposal of waste by landfill, and carry out waste within SCG as much as possible in accordance with 3Rs concept. 3Rs concepts are Reduce, Reuse& Recycle and Replenish.Personal ResponseSCG have policy to protect and look after an environment.
